“The Bridge at Waterloo is a charity based at St John’s Waterloo. We welcome people of all beliefs and backgrounds. Our work focuses on bringing the community together through creative activities, gardening, and the arts, while promoting inclusion, fairness, and care for the environment.
A key part of our work is The Room for You. This is a free programme that offers social, creative, and community activities. It gives people the chance to learn new skills, explore their creativity, make friends, and feel part of a supportive community. People can join as participants or volunteers.
Everyone is welcome, including refugees, asylum seekers, and people who may be experiencing homelessness, isolation, or other difficulties. Where possible, we also support people to take part in work placements.
The Bridge at Waterloo also offers multilingual support, including help in Portuguese, to make sure our services are accessible to people who do not speak English as their first language.”
